Preparation is Key

Before anything else, preparation is the key to success--Alexander Graham Bell

As I get older, I stubbornly admit that being prepared is certainly the key to success. I tried the carefree lifestyle then I had kids.....guess what happens when you didn't prepare with the extra diaper? Most definitely diarrhea.

Weddings are the same as diarrhea. (I bet no one thought they'd ever say the previous sentence). If it can go wrong it will go wrong. Therefore preparation is key. Are you getting a wedding planner? If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. Please don't depend on your bridal party to hold your shit together, they definitely didn't bring an extra diaper either! So wedding planner! If it's not in your budget, my company also offers timeline coordination. I have an assistant who is the one that holds all the shit together. She lets everyone know who's up for photos, where to go for photos, when it's time to move on to the next activity, etc.

The next recommendation for preparation is and this is going to sound absolutely wild and ADULT!

INSURANCE

What? Insurance? For what you may ask. It's wedding insurance it covers the vendors, severe weather, sudden illness (diarrhea), injury and your wedding dress! For the pessimistic there is also policies that include change of heart provisions ( I mean shit happens). The picture above with that adorable couple is where I learned about wedding dress insurance. Her only concern in the world was how can we get the most fantastic pictures? See her gallery it's phenom! Not a care in the world because she knew that if it was destroyed, she'll let the insurance take care of it. Every bride should not have to worry about anything on their day except making excellent memories and of course capturing them!
